So if you have been following the 2014 Worlds, you'll know by now that there are only 6 out of the original 38 countries still in running for the World Title: United States, Canada, Iroquois, Scotland, Israel and Australia. Today begins the quarterfinals on ESPN3, with Scotland taking on Iroquois at 6pm EDT and Israel versus Australia at 9pm EDT. The powerhouses, United States and Canada, receive a well-earned bye til the semis with records thus far of 5-0 (US) and 4-1 (CAN). Their initial match was during the first rounds of pool play on Thursday and resulted with United States claiming a 10-7 victory of Canada... definitely a close and heated tilt. It will be interesting to see if they will again face each other, but this time for the gold.
