New England Patriot's wideout and Super Bowl champ, signed a one day contract with the New England Black Wolves last Friday and was named honorary captain for their tilt against the Georgia Swarm.  Although, the Wolves lost 21-12, it was a special evening... and made for some great exposure to the sport.

For those who don't know Hogan's past all that well... he just won the Super Bowl with the Patriots... before that, had made roster for four other NFL teams... before that, played football at Monmouth... AND BEFORE THAT, played college lacrosse at Penn State.

Hogan on being signed by the Black Wolves:

"It’d be pretty cool to even think about the chance to play lacrosse again, but the sport gave me a lot, so its cool that I get to take part in this, and be a part of something. It’s such a big night here, so its a lot of fun for me, and it’ll be fun to watch these guys play."

Some may argue, lacrosse is still his true love.  Maybe a stretch.  Maybe not.  You'll have to ask him yourself.
