We're super stoked about releasing this item.  If you have been following us for a while you'll know that our Fat Boy used to look different.  About a couple months ago, we decided to redesign him... make him fatter, happier and overall better!  The redesign also allowed us to use Fat Boy more seamlessly throughout our marketing and product design.  He's a symbol of fun and a reminder to never take yourself too seriously.

The story behind "Crease Dumps & Donuts" comes from multiple reference points.  First off, I love donuts.  I will smash donuts anytime of the day.  If I had a gun to my head and was forced to choose a favorite, I'd probably go with either an original cake or a jelly donut... but I've never had a donut I didn't like... and I've never had a gun pointed to my head... so fortunately I don't need to chose a favorite at this point in time.

Moving on.

A donut is also a style of taping a lacrosse stick.  Handles generally come direct from the factory with a stock rubber knob on the end.  I was never a fan of these and always ripped them off.  After watching our neighbors from the north play (Canada), I noticed that they would tape a massive hunk of tape on their handle a couple inches from the bottom and that was it (similar to a hockey goalie knob but not nearly as big).  I decided to try it and immediately loved the feel.  I have used a taped donut knob on my stick ever since.

If you're a lacrosse player, you know what crease dumps are.  If you're new to the sport or don't play, a crease dump is essentially scoring a goal from the doorstep (right in front of the net... typically just you versus the goalie).  They're quick goals and generally happen due to great offensive ball movement.

Crease dumps, donuts and the Fat Boy are all part of this great game and we're excited to launch this limited edition item.
